We are always looking for new members to join our branch and/or take a position on our committee. We love hearing new ideas and suggestions as to how to further our club.
Our primary focus is to encourage the breeding and use of Irish Draughts within all areas of equestrian sports. We have riders from beginners right up to experienced riders and have both amateur and professional breeders on our committee.
We offer support via training and clinics that are held throughout the year. Additionally, we aim to hold our first (and hopefully annual) show in June 2019 with classes for mares, foals, youngstock as well as ridden showing and performance hunter classes.
We are in the process of getting special discounts for our members in many equestrian and agricultural shops. Additionally, members of the Meath branch are entitled to discdiscountedry fees to our own and other branch's shows, including the natioal show held in Punchestown each September.
